Don't worry be happy. This was my Ah Gong that i knew throughout my 18 years of living and breathing. A very cheerful and energetic person that never fails to suprise us with his teochew opera singing and his funny actions.

Up till now i can still remember the vision of him lying on the sofa with his trusty sponge-covered microphone in one hand and some peanut candy in the other, singing away to his heart's content.

My other Ah Gong (Dad's side) died shortly after I was born. He held me when i was about a few months old. I never even got to meet him.

Life is something everyone treasures and death is something everyone would not like to encounter. But the truth is we cannot evade death forever. Man who try to seek immortality are just nothing but fools who wish to find a loophole in god's ulitmate creation. Death is part and parcel of life. We have to live with it. The pessimistic will constantly live in fear of death while the optimistic will try live a fufilled and wonderful life.

My Ah Gong has amazing willpower when he managed to prove doctors wrong by keeping on going past the 48 hour timeframe they gave him. I am truly in awe of him. I am sad that he is no longer able to enjoy the world with us now, but then again I am glad that he went peacefully and with no regrets after seeing all of his children and grandchildren. Go in peace Ah Gong. We burnt enough ingots to build u a castle =D

To my friends out there. Please do treasure you family. They are the only ones you can really turn to in times of trouble. Love all of you out there! ~<3
